Ito ang pagsasalarawang sinabi ng militanteng Kilusang Mayo Uno (KMU) sa posisyon ni Pangulong Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo na buhayin ang Anti-Subversion Law bilang bahagi ng anti-insurgency campaign ng gobyerno.

KMU Chairperson Elmer ‘Ka Bong’ Labog said the succeeding oil price hikes, the scheduled increases in water and power rates and price of pandesal to P2.50 this month are enough reasons that workers’ salaries be immediately adjusted and a deregulated scheme in the oil industry be scrapped. read full article »

KMU Chairperson Elmer ‘Ka Bong’ Labog said that the nationally-coordinated protest actions with nationwide transportation strike is a stern warning to the Arroyo government that ‘widespread unrest’ will still rock the remaining two years of the unpopular administration.
